Always public spirited, CRUDE focused on Louisiana Family Values with its 2005 theme. According to Louisiana law it's okay to kill a cock but not to lick one.
Great chicken costumes---who could forget the yellow tights? And the float was another masterpiece by Richard and Joe. Rotating Human Cock and Rooster Cock in the boxing ring. Joe engineered a mechanism that utilized wheels, pulleys and good kharma to make the boxers rotate as the float moved. Defying all odds, it was still working at the end of the parade.
